The role

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the EMEA TraditionData Product team based in our London office. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the team to shape the future of product development for our customers.

TraditionData is a division of Tradition that provides consistent, high-quality financial market data that reflects real price interest in global OTC swaps markets, covering Interest Rate Derivatives, Energy & Commodities, Credit & Fixed Income and FX & Money Markets.

Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world’s largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. Represented in over 30 countries, Compagnie Financière Tradition S.A. is listed on the Swiss stock exchange.


  • Support Product Managers in defining and creating new market data products – either via enhancements to the existing suite or to create brand new products
  • Support the development of new financial data products and phasing out old data products. Help ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
  • Structured approach to business and must possess outstanding analytical skills providing regular reports covering ROI performance and product timescales and development cycles
  • Strong ability to leverage technology in order to create efficient tools which allow the Product team to scale and to provide support for Sales to execute new and displacement sales.
    • Must have strong knowledge of Excel, Own and produce internal TPC codes and manage them alongside the internal Salesforce team
  • Assist in the implementation of product strategies consistent with company vision for the data sales products and services with the overall objective to grow revenue and client take-up
  • Possess strong project management skills – agile preferred
  • Have a commercial mind set & knowledge of the various commercial models required in the changing world of market data delivery and pricing
  • Understanding of the market data information challenges and vendor environment
  • Ability to work collegiately to garner/maintain support from the various stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to work with the sales people to both meet with clients, collate needs and help Product managers to differentiate between real and ‘dream’ revenue opportunities for successful product development Engage with clients and vendors on a regular basis to continually assess the quality, consistency, perception and value of our products
  • Support the engagement with third parties in building solutions that will benefit the company and its customers Work with Market Data Support on the requirements for data creation across which platforms ahead of a new product launch or upgrades to an existing product
  • Work with I.T. and Market Data Support on to improving how the company controls and distributes its market data

We would love to hear from you if

  • You have at experience in financial market data – preferably in Product and/or Sales.
  • You understand product management within the financial services business and be able to demonstrate this
  • You are a team player, able to work as part of a global product management matrix, sharing information to maximize product enhancement and development
  • You have an understanding of market data and its uses within their client base. This will include the ability to communicate clearly with technical specialists at both TraditionData and customer sites
