We are seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist who will play a pivotal role in generating engagement with new bank and non-bank clients in OTC data within Singapore and the SE Asia region. As a Sales Specialist, you will be the driving force behind establishing and expanding TraditionData’s presence in the region, ensuring our innovative market data solutions reach a wider audience.


  • Identify and Engage Prospective Clients: Identify potential clients within the SE Asia region, including banks and non-bank financial institutions. Initiate contact and establish relationships to introduce TraditionData’s OTC market data offerings.
  • Understand Client Needs: Collaborate closely with the regional sales team to meet with clients and understand their unique data requirements. Tailor product offerings and solutions to meet their specific needs, addressing pain points and demonstrating value.
  • Promote Market Data Products: Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of TraditionData’s market data products to clients. Present the technical specifications in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Industry Engagement: Proactively meet with key stakeholders, clients, and market participants individually to gather market intelligence and feedback on existing products and potential enhancements. Use this valuable information to drive continuous improvement and innovation in TraditionData’s offerings.
  • Represent TraditionData: Act as a brand ambassador by representing TraditionData at industry conferences, round tables, and networking events. Showcase our market-leading products, build thought leadership, and foster relationships with potential and existing clients.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent: A solid educational foundation in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience: Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within the financial market data industry.
  • Technical Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of technical specifications related to market data products, enabling effective communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Multi-Asset Class Experience: Experience with at least two of the following asset classes: Rates, FX, Fixed Income, Commodities & Energy, demonstrating versatility in catering to diverse client needs.
  • Collaborative Track Record: Proven ability to collaborate with internal developers and technical market data professionals, as well as effectively engage with client businesses, fostering productive relationships.
