Overall Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to join the EMEA TraditionData Sales team, focussing on the German and Austrian territories. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the team to achieve our ambitious sales targets for 2023 and beyond.

Your role will be to sell the TraditionData products to new (75%) and existing (25%) customers within these territories. The EMEA Sales Team has offices across Europe, and we are flexible regarding which office you would prefer to be based in.

Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly and annual sales targets as set by the Head of Sales, EMEA.
  • Research and implement a clear and concise sales plan for your territories.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of all existing products, supplementing this with new products as and when they are brought to market.
  • Execute sales campaigns within your territory alongside the wider sales and marketing activity.
  • Manage all leads, contacts, opportunities and sales within the Salesforce environment.
  • Work closely with the account management team to ensure a smooth post-sale transition.
  • Collaborate across the three regions (Americas, APAC & EMEA) to enhance the collective knowledge of the sales team.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to with respect to the relevant Regulatory Bodies.

  • You have proven experience selling market data services to the financial community, or a strong sales history within financial services (minimum 3 years).
  • You have excellent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are a team player, with the ability to build and leverage relationships at all levels within an organisation
  • You can manage and prioritise a heavy workload to meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are self-sufficient, proactive and a quick learner who demonstrates initiative.
