OVERALL SUMMARY

We are looking for a Junior Events & Marketing Associate to join the TraditionData Global Marketing team to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. You will be based in our London office, and your role will be to support the Global Marketing Manager to develop, execute, promote and evaluate the TraditionData brand through various marketing activities including, but not limited to, events, communications and PR/award entries. Event management will be a key part of the role, and the individual will be expected to support our global event program and to support delivery of events where required. The successful candidate will also play a key role in helping to deliver and evaluate all marketing activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in delivery and monitoring of the TraditionData marketing strategy to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.
  • Provide ongoing marketing support and material development for the marketing and product teams
  • Promote the TraditionData brand across appropriate channels for all market segments / audiences including, but not limited to:
    • Events
    • Internal & External Communications
    • PR/Award Entries
  • Manage the day-to-day planning and execution of internal and client-facing events, industry conferences and trade shows, including pre- and post-even communications & attendee management.
  • Research and evaluate proposals for both large and small scale events.
  • Source new venues / locations for upcoming events
  • Assist in evaluating ROI for all events
  • Collaborate across departments to contribute to meeting design, agenda, brand building, event communications and marketing.
  • Leverage existing content and access to industry communities to promote events and tradeshows
  • Provide consistent and clear communication of events program to all stakeholder, including internal briefing documents for events and conferences
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and maintain excellent relationships
  • Work as a shared resource to the business development and product teams in support of their event requirements

Risk & Compliance

Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in event management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team player with the ability to build and leverage relationships at all levels
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Experience organising and managing events
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload, meeting deadlines and operating efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-sufficient and proactive, a quick learner who demonstrates initiative
  • Demonstrable project management skills
  • Creative thinker, willing to share ideas
  • Tenacious and results focused
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience working with Salesforce (CRM),
